Inject new life into your marketing strategy when internationally-recognized small business expert and author Anita Campbell discusses her latest book, Visual Marketing: 99 Proven Ways for Small Businesses to Market with Images and Design.

“Attention-grabbing visuals are the ones that garner the most attention and get the most sales,” according to the author’s website. The book presents case studies with photos and illustrations that display unique examples of marketing programs that work in unexpected ways. Campbell, along with co-author David Langton, identifies eye-catching and thought-provoking marketing and PR tips, ideas, and creative “stunts.” This compendium of winning ideas will inspire small business leaders, creative professionals, and students.

Campbell is CEO and founder of Small Business Trends, an online community touching over 250,000 small business owners each month. It is an award-winning site, named to the Forbes Best of the Web (twice in 2005 and 2008), and receiving recognition from the Wall Street Journal and MSNBC television. She also hosts a weekly internet radio podcast show featuring interviews with small business owners, entrepreneurs and stakeholders important to the small business market. In addition, Campbell is the owner of an award-winning small business social media site called BizSugar.

Campbell holds a B.A. from Duquesne University and a J.D. from the University of Akron Law School.  She completed an Executive Education program at the University of Michigan Business School and the Leadership at the Peak program at the Center for Creative Leadership.

The Learned Owl Book Shop will be on hand with copies of the book for purchase and signing.
