Description
Explore a number of Sydney’s public art pieces and look at how they contribute to the public realms and the way they relate to the surrounding architecture.
This tour starts at Calders ‘Crossed Blades’ sculpture which was commissioned as part of Harry Seidler’s Australia Square tower project. The walk includes traditional sculptures in Sydney and the controversial P & O Fountain in Hunter Street by Tom Bass which is more frequently referred to as ‘The Urinal’.
