True grit makes the Weepers sound "as old as the hills" like the rolling, slow moving and ever shifting sand of the Mesa. Sometimes they meander and sometimes they gallop, and when a hillbilly harmony overlaps a ranchero accordian melody, you can almost taste that clean fresh Mesa air!

 They sing a simple song. It's not fancy chord progressions or operatic arrpegios that flow out of the songs and in to the chair next to you, but rather the lively stories of women and rambling, loves and losses collected, hazy memories, and sorid details.

 Readum and Weepers will change your alternator for a six pack and a joint.  She'll roar like a jalopy and another twelve pack will miracously appear from the bed of a pickup truck.  No one ever said they were mechanics.

 From their humble beginnings in a barn in the "dirty south" county, Readum and Weepers are now bringing Mesabilly places it's never been before!
