Word Rapport is a new series at the Schomburg where the goal is to build the audience's relationshipwith booksand their authors.

In collaboration with Hueman Book Store, the Schomburg invites you to join New York 1’s Cheryl Wills and Professor and author Randall Robinson as they discuss his new novel, Makeda. Part coming-of-age story, part spiritual journey, and part love story, Makeda is a universal tale of family, heritage, and the ties that bind.
