A keyword is any term or phrase that someone enters into a search engine like Google. The term keyword can be slightly misleading, because it doesn’t only refer to single words typed in as search queries, but also to phrases and entire sentences.

What makes keywords so important? Search engines have become a pivotal way for small businesses to interact with information. Many times a day millions of people use Google and other search-engines (mainly Yahoo! and Bing) to search for products and services that will solve their problems or help them reach their goals.

Since small businesses can find out what their customers are looking for, how many are looking for it and the specific words they use to find it, keywords offer an unprecedented insight into human psychology and at the same time represent an incredibly valuable opportunity to get more leads, customers and sales.

In this webinar, Ed Andriessen, CEO of Business Training Resource, a small business internet marketing consultancy, answers important questions about where to start and what to do with Google Places.

Ed will cover:

  • Why must all internet marketing strategies start with keyword research?
  • What are your customers searching for and how many are searching for it?
  • What are the best free keyword search tools?
  • How do I use these keyword search tools?
  • How do I use keywords to get more traffic to my site?
  • What are some of the other ways I can take advantage of my keywords and keyword tools for my business?

If you’re a small business owner looking to get more business from the internet, take a moment to register and attend this valuable session.
