The Friends of Music Concert Series of the Northridge United Methodist Church is pleased to announce that they have secured the Grammy Award winning baritone Nmon Ford, to replace the ailing Carol Vaness in their inaugural concert Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
An accomplished concert soloist and operatic lead, Mr. Ford has performed throughout Europe and the US. His international reputation for powerful and sensitive vocals, a commanding stage presence and excellent command of his material have earned him rave reviews in der Spiegel, L' Opera, Milano Finanza, Opera Canada, Teatro Teatro, The Washington Post, The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and the Los Angeles Times.
We are truly blessed to have an artist of his caliber and reputation to
christen our first season.
