Greetings, Parents!
4th & 5th Grade graduates who are entering 5th – 6th grade in September, 2006 are a happy bunch! They are naturally drawn to action-packed, fast-paced activities and thrive on team competition and personal challenges.
Day Camp at Christ Community Church balances action-packed days with well-trained counselor support in a warm, caring and healthy environment. Day Camp is the perfect summer event for upcoming 5th – 6th graders!
Once again we will be enjoying an overnight camp out near the Santa Cruz Mountains on Friday night (July 14th). This event will be a great close to an awesome week! Students will bring overnight gear to Day Camp on Friday morning.
You will be mailed an outline of the final itinerary, plus other pertinent information, by the end of June.
WHO:
100 students - 4th & 5th Grade graduates
who are entering 5th – 6th grade in September, 2006.
Campers, 16 trained and enthusiastic high school counselors and college and adult leaders make up this awesome team!
WHAT:
After a high-energy assembly time, we head out for a full day of activity.
Each day we go somewhere different –Ice Skating, Waterslides, Great America, overnight camping and more!
WHEN:
Monday through Saturday, July 10-15, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with two exceptions:
Wednesday, July 12th 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Great America day). Parents pick up their Day Camper at Great America at 8:00 pm in the pick-up parking lot.
Friday night camp out. We go straight to the campground Friday morning and return Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m.
What are the fees for such an awesome week?
Surely it must cost a million or more bucks! Only $125.00 includes fees, transportation, crafts, prizes, curriculum, and a very special Day Camp 2006 “Army of THE ONE” t-shirt!
