Workday Information

Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children 12 require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor. Groups can contact Arnie Thompson  (arniet@acterra.org) for their own special program dates/hours.

What: Join us for a few hours of planting native plants on the banks of our local creeks!  Help us improve habitat for native insects, birds, fish and other animals as we work to help restore the "bottom of the food chain" - our native plants that support all other native life.

Where:  Bol Park in the Barron Park neighborhood in Palo Alto. We will meet at the stairs leading down into the creek. Carpool, bike, or walk if possible.

Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves and tools. Minors under 18 must bring awaiver form signed by a parent.
