On May 16, 2011, the New York State Board of Regents approved regulations which dramatically alter the Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR), the system by which public school teachers and administrators are evaluated. The revisions, which mandate that a numerical score be assigned to each person who is evaluated, have far-reaching consequences for teaching and learning.
We invite administrators, teachers, parents and other concerned citizens to join us for this important forum. There will be time for audience comments and questions.
