This introductory 1-day course provides an introduction to 2D sketching and 3D modeling using DesignModeler from the perspective of geometry preparation for generating CFD meshes. Mesh generation is taught using ANSYS CFX-Mesh. ANSYS CFX-Mesh is a CFD specific mesh generator that produces meshes that accurately capture boundary layer details using Advancing Front with Inflation (AFI) technology.
