Room location: Main Floor School Classroom / A2132 (Perimeter Church)
This seminar is a deeper, more interactive exploration of foster care and adopting "waiting children" from the foster care system. This is also a good place to start for those interested in volunteering as part of the foster community of care. We will discuss myths about foster care, give an overview of the process and share practical ways for getting started. The meeting will be in a smaller setting, offer more details and the ability to ask questions. Perimeter families who are fostering will also be present.
This seminar will be conducted through FaithBridge Foster Care (see: www.faithbridgefostercare.org) and includes the state required “orientation” curriculum to receive foster certification AND adopt from the foster care system.
Drinks will be provided.
CHILDCARE for your childen is available in the Downtown classrooms (age 0-4), K-Street (Kindergarteners), and Kids Quest (grades 1-6). Please arrive a few minutes early to walk your children to their classes.
