SFU Woodward's and the Vancouver Moving Theatre are pleased to bring back to the stage Bah! Humbug!, a benefit in support of community arts in the Downtown Eastside. A contemporary adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Bah! Humbug! parallels the economic disparities between Victorian England and Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Reconceived as a staged reading and musical event, this presentation includes community actors working alongside professional actors from the city.
