HeartSaver AED CPR The HeartSaver AED course covers Adult and Child CPR and the use of an AED (automated external defibrillation) and choking procedures. This course is ideal for all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace. Participants may include security guards, day care staff, office workers and other lay responders. Infant CPR and Infant Choking are optional (ages newborn to one). The fee for the course includes a course manual. An American Heart Association card will be issued upon successful completion valid for two years. Students should arrive 15 minutes before class starts. Adult and Child only: $60.00 Note: The Heartsaver AED/CPR Course is not recommended for people in or entering the medical profession. Please see the BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR course. All AHA CPR and First Aid courses are available at your workplace or organization with 6 or more participants.
