Bummer! Sales have ended.
Unfortunately, tickets for this event are no longer on sale.
Join us for a special Holiday PowerShell User Group Meeting. We have a special guest. If you're deep into PowerShell, there is no way you have not heard his name, Oisin Grehan. PowerShell MVP from Montreal, developer for PSCX, blogger, contributer to NuGet, and the developer for the PowerShell Script Provider will bring us an evening that is deep in PowerShell providers.
Providers - you know what they are, but do you know it all? Find out where and how providers are used without your knowledge, understand their design and internals, and learn how you can use the PowerShell Script provider to create your own providers.
Of course it's going to be impossible to have a meeting without discussing PowerShell 3.0 - you can expect to hear what Oisin has to say about the new features.
Oisin had to switch months. He will be coming in January instead. For this month Tome Tanasovski, MVP Recipient, author of the PowerShell Bible, and our founder will do a talk on tips and tricks - with a few PowerShell v3 things to boot.
- 6:00pm - 6:30pm - Catching up, pizza, cool user submitted topics, and user group news
- 6:30pm - 8:00 - Oisin Grehan, PowerShell Providers Tome Tanasovski - Tips and Tricks
- 8:01pm - Drinks at Heartland Brewery
The meeting will be held, as usual, at the Microsoft offices on 6th Ave:
1290 Avenue of the Americas, Sixth Floor New York, NY 10104
