Event Details
January 6-8, 2012
Pack 171 will be taking a weekend trip to Charleston, SC to camp on the USS Yorktown and tour Patriot’s Point. This is a unique experience and highly anticipated trip. We get to sleep in the crew bunks and eat in the mess hall. We tour the ship and watch movies on the flight deck. As part of the trip we will also take a boat to Fort Sumter. Your trip fee even includes a souvenir t-shirt for the kids.
Transportation is on your own (car pooling is encouraged). We finish the planned agenda Sunday morning and you are free to continue to tour the ship or Charleston and return when you wish. You must plan to arrive at the ship in Charleston no later than 7:30 pm on Friday, January 6th.
