Intro to using the TLC5940 with an arduino - BLINKY STUFF 101

This is a class to introduce the TLC5940 controller chip, and demonstrate it's usage. Students are requested to bring their own supplies, including:

3 TLC5940 chips
16 RGB LEDs (there will be spares)
1 arduino
3 ~7k resistors (I will have spares)
Patch wires - http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103801
A laptop and programming cable for your 'duino

At the end of the class, students should leave with 48 channels of PWM control, allowing control of 16 RGB LEDs. Contact me, druid@stonedcoder.org, if you need help gathering supplies.
