On February 23 - 24, 2009 San Miguel Workshops and The Oz Project will lauch the first San Miguel Teen Writers Workshop. It will be FREE to 30 children, ages 14 - 18, who attend school and/or live in an orphanage in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
The workshops are designed and taught by talented, published authors who will introduce to teens to the world of writing and offer instruction on ways to better their writing skills. All workshops are taught in Spanish and all supplies for the children will be free. At the end of the course, three participants will receive new laptop computers in a drawing and all works will be published in our writing gallery.
