Event Details
Instructor: Dr. Stephen Sonnenberg (Colorado School of Mines)
Fee: $390 (includes food at breaks, workbook, and PDH certificate)
The course is for petroleum industry personnel in need of basic geological training. Course participants include: engineering, geophysical, technical support, and administrative personnel. Topics covered include: plate tectonics and sedimentary basins, geologic time; the petroleum system; depositional systems; porosity and permeability; conventional reservoirs; unconventional reservoirs; well log correlation and analysis; contour maps and cross sections; source rocks and seals.
