Event Details

Celebrate Alice Paul's birthday (at her Quaker Meetinghouse in Moorestown) and explore Jersey Girl culture with Barri Leiner Grant and Marie Moss, authors of Jersey Girls: The Fierce & the Fabulous.  The book features a brash mix of vintage and modern photographs, a tribute to Jersey girl fashion and "tawk," and a Jersey Girl Hall of Fame featuring one of our favorite Jersey Girls- Alice Paul.

The Jersey Girls book (hardcover edition) will be available for sale for $20 at the event and on the API website at http://www.alicepaul.org/gift_catalog.htm.   You can take advantage of our special rate of $25 for the book and admission to this event (a savings of $5).  Be sure to get your book to have signed by Marie and Barri after their presentation!

Also, join us afterwards to sing "Happy Birthday" to Alice Paul and enjoy cake and refreshments!

The API business meeting will take place at 1pm.  The public is invited to join us at this meeting before the 2pm presentation.

You may register here (see ticket information) for a fee or via phone at 856-231-1885 or via email at info@alicepaul.org.
