We're running a full day workshop on leadership in small business and some tips for managing staff. This is for small businesses who have either recently recruited staff or are looking at recruiting staff shortly.
Also, we will go through some leadership tips and tools to drive your small business forward, improve productivity and decision making.
About your speaker:
Richard Celm
Accelerator Manager (BA, BMark, MBA, Dip HRM, MAICD)
Richard has over ten years commercial experience in Australia, USA and UK in a variety of Marketing, Senior Management and Project Management roles. He has an MBA from Melbourne Business School – the top ranked business school in Asia-Pacific for executive education.
He also has over ten years experience in designing, managing and delivering training on a variety of courses for both the Australian and British Army as a part-time officer and has been awarded the Australian Defence Medal.
He has extensive business consulting experience in the ICT, gaming, digital media and the action sports industries and was General Manager of Watson Laminated/Imperial Distribution the second largest manufacturer and distributor of skateboards in the World.
He has also started three businesses in his early 20s and one of which he remains a shareholder of today – Goliath Industries in Australia. He has firsthand experience of capital raising and business exist strategies having helped develop and then sell what was at the time Australia’s largest online fruit and vegetable company (eatfresh.com) and prepared, pitched and sold an action sports business to Veriflex Ltd a NASDAQ listed company.
He is a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner, a member of the Australia Institute of Company Directors and is first-aid qualified.
