TA Conference 2012

Keynote Speaker - Margot Sunderland

The National TA Conference 2012 is a joint event sponsored by the ITA and the IDTA. 

The event, which is being held at the Barcelo Majestic Hotel in Harrogate in April 2012, will run from the Friday afternoon until the Sunday lunchtime, and over the three days will be a mix of workshops, social events and networking. Located at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate has a thriving town centre with many excellent places to eat and with a wide range of interesting shops and attractions. 

Car parking is free at the hotel.

Booking your Conference

Decide which type of tickets you want to book.  Click on the quantity field and enter the number you wish to purchase.  You will then be taken to the registration page where you will be asked to complete some information and to provide your payment details.

To ensure that tickets are not oversold there is a time limit of 15 minutes for you to make your booking.  This means you cannot store your infomation for another time.  If you exceed the 15 minute limit  you will have to re-register. 

Att the end of registering and paying you will be able to print off a ticket with all your details. Please bring this with you to the conference. 

If you want to book accomodation for days prior to or after the Conference then please contact the hotel directly.  We have negotiated the following Bed and Breakfast rates for additional nights. 

Standard room - Sole occupancy £77 per room

Standard room - Double occupancy £87 per room

Premium supplement if needed £30 per room

Full Conference Residential Package includes attendance at all conference workshops over the three days. 

Friday - Dinner, Accomodation.

Saturday  - Breakfast, Lunch, Gala Dinner, Accomodation.

Sunday - Breakfast, lunch.

Accomodation is in either single, double or twin bedded room.  

Staying in Double, Twin and Premium Double rooms. 

Double, twin and premium double rooms can be booked for sole occupancy for which there is a one off supplement of £40, making the price the same as for a single room.  You need to pay this as an additional "ticket" called the Single Occupancy and Partner Supplement. You will find this ticket towards the bottom of the list.  

Where there are two people sharing and one of them is NOT attending the conference the following supplements will need to be paid.

One Sole/Single Occupancy Supplement of £40

A Partner Supplement per nights's stay which includes dinner, bed and breakfast.  £40 per night. 

If you are in a double, twin or premium double room and both of you are attending conference then you will need to book two tickets as the price is per delegate, not per room.  

Full Conference Non Residential Package includes attendance at all conference workshops over the three days and lunch on the Saturday. This package does not include evening meals or accomodation. If you wish to stay for dinner then this has to be booked separately. 

Saturday Full Day Delegate includes lunch. This package does not include evening meals or accomodation. If you wish to stay for dinner then this has to be booked separately. 

Friday and Sunday Half Day Delegate includes the workshops and does not include lunches, evening meals or accomodation. If you wish to stay for dinner then this has to be booked separately.
