El Dorado Wine Country

Visit Us Year – Round

Just a little over two hours from San Francisco, El Dorado’s wineries beckon visitors with award-winning wines, friendly tasting room staff to allow both beginning wine tasters and experts to explore our wine country.  El Dorado wineries are also family friendly with outside areas for picnics.

In El Dorado wine country you will find hundreds of microclimates from 1,200 to 3,500 feet, nearly 50 varieties of grapes, dozens of artisan winemakers with a passion for experimenting with all of the above to achieve exceptional wines.

A unique experience always awaits you to wine taste with an owner or winemaker.  Come visit to explore the distinctive characteristics that set El Dorado apart from any other AVA. Learn more about our wines and events at www.eldoradowines.org.
