Event Details
Orphan Care Ministry Leader (OCML) Training is for Pastors and Church Lay Leaders interested in starting or enhancing an Orphan Care/Adoption Ministry in the local church. The goal is to equip the Church to care for and support adoptive/foster parents in the community. Topics will include:
- Vision and Mission
- Communication to staff and congregation
- Planning
- Volunteer recruitment and training
- Resources
This is an interactive, 4 hour class that will provide you with a plan of action and will give you an opportunity to meet other leaders interested in caring for the orphan and the parents that bring them into their homes.
Cost is $25/kit. (Couples can share.)
