Event Details

Part 4 in the VoIP for Call Takers series is called "advanced topics" and is intended for individuals who have successsfully completed parts 1-3. Topics in this section include a look into the Session Initiation Protocol that is used in most commercial VoIP implementations, wideband voice coder/decoders and related advanced topics. This course is designed for the call taker, dispatcher or supervisor who wishes to really understand how things work in the VoIP area as it relates to Public Safety and to really master their job. This webinar will be led by James P. Cavanagh. There will be an opportunity for online questions and answers during the live program.

About the Presenter
Jim Cavanagh is a thirty year veteran of the telephony and networking industry who has been training, consulting and collaborating with public safety, law enforcement and homeland security agencies on Internet Protocol, VoIP and security issues for the past several years.
