To celebrate Global Entrepreneuership Week we have invited guest speaker Jordan Kensington to Liverpool to share his experience of being a young entrepreneur and growing an international brand and company from scratch. In 2007 Jordan was worth an estimated US $18 million. An Introduction to Jordan Kensington

Jordan is an entrepreneur, media personality and founder of the company Invincible, a media, advertising and events agency launched in 1999 with headquarters in the Virgin Islands and offices in six countries. The media part of the business publishes over 12 magazines including; Chelsea Monthly, Los Angeles Monthly and Invincible magazine whilst the advertising agency looks after the media planning and buying for several brands spread across six countries including the USA, UK, Caribbean and China.

The events company, invincible events produces some of the biggest global awards shows including; the National Reality Television Awards, Urban Music Awards, British Music Week and the International Football Awards. In 2008 Jordan, was the first young British entrepreneur of his age to launch the development of new tablet pc’s through the creation of a new development and manufacturing company called Zuricom. The first product, Zuricom JK-100 hit the market in 2011 and is currently being sold throughout Asia, Europe, and Africa and now in the United Kingdom.

His other business interests under the umbrella of Invincible include radio station, a Television production company, record label, celebrity management agency and a primary school and College. He has taken the roles of Executive producer of Sky TV's Britain's Next Urban Superstar, writer, radio presenter and presenter for BBC 1 local news strand Inside Out. The Beginning

After finishing University, Jordan sold his house and with support from The Prince's Trust went on to set Invincible Magazine in 1999.The magazine reportedly saw a circulation of 65,000 copies distributed monthly in the UK giving exposure to several first time artist such as Dizzee Rascal, M.I.A, Joss Stone, Twista, Eminem and many more. In 2002 the company launched a radio station, Production Company and a celebrity management arm to further maximise the brand Invincible and 2003 saw the launch of the Urban Music Awards. The awards show spun off an events production arm to the company. Jordan launched Invincible Media in 2005 and set up offices in over 6 countries. The company has won accounts in all key territories including China, Africa, USA, and the UK. Clients include; Samsung Mobile, Timberland, Kickers, Footlocker, MAC Cosmetics, Corona Extra, British Airways, and many more. On April 22, 2007, Jordan inked a six figure deal with leading shoe brand Kickers. The agreement saw a special Invincible shoe created, sold and endorsed by several celebrities.
