Life Drawing @ Allanbank Studio
Monday 6.30 - 8.30pm (7 weeks) - Gill Walton
Drawing from life is one of the simplest yet most endlessly complex of human activities, this above all other art disciplines develops and challenges your drawing and observational skills. This course will lead you through the starting points of producing a convincing life drawing. Each week will focus on a different element of drawing using a variety of poses and both male and female models. Becoming more ambitious and taking an individual approach you will explore the figure in context. Life drawing is an incredibly enriching, relaxing and enjoyable experience. On completion of the course you will be able to show that you have developed:
• A confidence with drawing materials through various timeframes and scales.
• An understanding of proportion and basic anatomy and a personal approach to the human figure.
