Getting acquainted with wine - the first step
Theory and practice are what this class is all about. The primary goal is to explore the contexts of wine by learning basic skills and knowledge that will allow you to taste, serve and select wines with more confidence. During this class, you will acquire hands-on experience in:
- tasting techniques
- characteristics and profiles of wine
- the importance of glassware
- wine service
- the many kinds of wine
- how to buy & select wine
- deciphering a wine list
A gourmet lunch at TRIO Restaurant will be provided
