In a rare solo appearance, J. Robbins (acoustic guitar, voice), and Gordon Withers (cello) will perform songs spanning J's career as a songwriter/guitarist/singer in the bands Jawbox, Burning Airlines, Channels, and Office of Future Plans.
Jack & Ace, featuring Bob Nanna (Braid, Hey Mercedes) will open the show!
This little hootenanny is happening Sunday December 4 in the live room of Million Yen Recording Studio, at 3132 Kedzie, ground floor (right by the freeway at the corner of Belmont and Kedzie) in beautiful Chicago IL.
Doors at 7. Nobody will be admitted after 7:30 so be sure to get there on time!

Hello!
We are really looking forward to seeing you at Million Yen tonight. Just a couple of notes to keep in mind:
Space will be very tight. We are trying to round up a few chairs, so please email back and let us know if you have special needs or if you are not ok with standing or sitting on the floor.
We will have bottled water available, but if you want anything else to drink, you will have to bring it.
Doors open at 7PM - but please keep in mind, nobody will be admitted after 7:30.
We're very excited for tonight - see you later.
