The screening committee is comprised of current and past members of the Kellogg Entrepreneurs Group. Selection will be based on completeness, timeliness, soundness, scalability, defensibility and, if relevant, market disruption.
The format will be similar to that of an "American Idol / Shark Tank" contest where entrepreneurs present 9 slides for 6-8 minutes and get immediate feedback from the panel of judges. The first ten startups that submit a presentation will be eligible to present. From this group, we will pick five for the formal pitch session. The remaining five will be permitted to introduce themselves and deliver a one sentence pitch on the night of the event. Their business plans will also be sent to panelist judges.
If the number of eligible submissions is significantly greater, we reserve the right to convert the event to a "speed dating" format.
