Event Details
We are looking for creative, innovative applications of assistive technology in our community that work to promote the education, empowerment or inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of life. Apply here to share your experience, expertise or best practices in the use of assisitive technology devices, software, materials and/or strategies.
This strand, AT and Communication, will include the following topics: evaluation and assessment, low, mid and high tech solutions, positive behavior support, AAC support at home and in the classroom, device demonstrations and similar topics. Please register by choosing the appropriate session format/length for your proposal above.
All submissions must include a curriculum vita emailed to smiguel@dadeschools.net . The submission will be reviewed by committee. Successful applicants will be notified by email on or before March 27, 2009.
