First we will go to a Sunflower Field in Poolesville, Md before heading to the Lilypons Water Gardens.  Lilypons is just a few minutes off the highway and will take you miles away from stress and concrete. It is located on over 300 acres of natural ponds, woods and rolling hills, next to the Monocacy River. Graceful weeping willows greet you as you curve around our entrance drive. Catch a glimpse of a great blue heron taking flight or the opening of a waterlily in the early morning. This is a great way to improve your photography and get wonderful images for your portfolio. A macro and medium telephoto lenses are the preferred equipment of choice. This will be an early morning shoot to avoid crowds and catch the waterlillies and lotus flowers as they open.
