AFund raising by mail become much more challenging and competitive, yet it is still an essential fund development tool. Make sure you are maximizing your effectiveness. Make sure you are using effective strategies for designing, composing and targeting your appeal letters. Small changes can often yield significant improvements in response rates. We will look at examples of letters that work and provide all attendees with a free Appeal Letter Checklist. Taught by John Elbare, CFP. Registration fee: $59.00

CGetting started in planned giving is easier than you think. You do not need specially-trained staff nor a big budget. You can effectively and consistently raise planned gifts from your donors with your current staff and a small budget. We show you how to get started the right way, so your organization can enjoy its share of the enormous wealth transfer that is now taking place. We cover basic planned gift marketing, working with donors, and how to get technical support when you need it. If you are not receiving planned gifts, you need to attend this session.
