The Idaho Commission for Libraries invites you to learn about RSS feeds and how you can stay on top of what is happening on the ICFL  and WebJunction Idaho websites.  The one-hour session will allow you to experience an online meeting environment, to build community among Idaho librarians, and to use Web 2.0 tools.  Register today.  If your library does not currently have an audio headset to allow you to communicate during the online meeting, please request a headset on the registration form.

Learning Objective

Participants will learn how to connect to ICFL and WebJunction Idaho using RSS feeds via aggregators such as Outlook and iGoogle.

  • Demonstration  on how to set up an iGoogle aggravator
  • Demonstration on how to RSS from the ICFL website
• RSS Feeds on WebJunction Idaho
  • Demonstration on how use Outlook aggravator
  • Demonstration on how to connect to WebJunction Idaho website via an RSS Feed.
