WIMBA - Live Space Meeting

The Idaho Commission for Libraries invites you to explore the ICFL and WebJunction Idaho websites via Wimba.  Here is a chance to get firsthand experience exploring these two Web 2.0 sites.  The one-hour session will allow you to experience an online meeting environment, to build community among Idaho librarians, and to use Web 2.0 tools.  Register today.  You’ll need a computer-compatible audio headset; so if your library hasn’t received one, please request a headset on the registration form.

Learning Objective

Participants will gain first-hand experience in using a virtual meeting space which will enable them to take advantage of online continuing education opportunities, state-wide virtual meetings, and other online professional development.

  • Introduce ICFL Web 2.0 Site – Navigation – Registration
    A brief tour of the new ICFL website, Web 2.0 tools, how to register and navigate
  • Introduce WebJunction Idaho – Navigation – Registration
    A brief tour of WebJunction Idaho, continuing education opportunities, communities of practice, how to register and navigate.
