The 11th Hillsborough Township "Economic & Business Development Commission" Business Social will be held on Tuesday, January 20th at 6:00 PM. The event will be held at CoccoLa which is located at 150 Rt. 206 South.
The event will begin with networking and socializing with food & beverages. This will be followed by the business portion of the evening with coffee and dessert. Robert Loderstedt from New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) will be the guest speaker.
In addition, Paul Ritz and Doreen Lorenzetti will be making a presentation on the Hillsborough Historical Mural Project to be installed on the front facade of the Township's Municipal Building and will present how the business community can help.
The new Hillsborough Twp. Mayor Frank DelCore will speak briefly about the Hillsborough Township Economic Action Plan just implemented to help local businesses by reconstituting the Township’s Grants and Shared Services Committee, establishing a Regulatory Oversight Working Group and making Gene Strupinsky, Business Advocate available on a full time basis.
This is a great opportunity, particularly for newer businesses in Hillsborough, to meet with their fellow business colleagues, Township Committee members and other Township officials including those from the business permitting and inspections Departments. Ronald Skobo, the Director of the Building Department, will be in attendance to answer questions and provide necessary information to you.
I encourage all attendees to bring literature and offer door prizes to help promote your business. There will be a literature table available for all business members to place their company literature for display throughout the evening. We are still accepting door prizes for the event so if you would like to offer a door prize, please send me an email at gstrupinsky@hillsborough-nj.org. Donating a door prize is a very economical way to effectively market your company product and/or services to area businesses and Hillsborough Township residents.
If you plan on attending, you can RSVP now to register for the event. The fee will be $10.00 payable at the event by cash or check made out to CoccoLa Restaurant.

Lastly, don't forget to bring plenty of business cards, arrive early and stay late. It will be another great business social event!
