Event Details

Join Charis Circle and community for a unique wine tasting event at one of our favorite neighborhood eateries, the fabulous Highland Bakery. We invite you to participate in our facilitated wine tasting, mingle with friends, enjoy baked goods & other refreshments, and listen to live classical music (LaTonya Peoples on the violin!), all while supporting the mission, vision, & programs of Charis Circle.

Tickets are available online and in person at Charis Books & More for an advance donation of $30 (cash and checks only, please). Ticket prices at the door will be $40.

Buy your advance tickets with a group for an extra discount-- pay just $100 for 4 tickets. Or, sign up between now and this event to make a recurring donation to Charis Circle of at least $10 a month (for 12 months) and we'll give you two free tickets to the wine tasting! Please visit www.chariscircle.org or call 404-524-0304 for more info.

The Highland Bakery is located at 655 Highland Avenue #10, Atlanta, GA 30312.

There are volunteer opportunities available for this event. Please contact Charis Circle board member Anna Kurien to learn more.

Charis Circle

Charis Circle serves our mission by hosting educational programs and organizing direct action to advance social justice; and by facilitating writing groups, author readings, book groups and cultural events (open mic and movie viewings) to encourage the expression of diverse and marginalized voices.

We foster sustainable feminist communities in our internal and community work by connecting all forms of oppression, working in coalition with others, having fun together and operating according to established ground rules to promote empowerment and respect.

Charis Circle partners with Charis Books and More to provide a welcoming community gathering space open to the public 7 days a week.
