Join Social Media Club Detroit on Wednesday, October 26 for a discussion with Christopher Baccus, executive director of digital and social media at AT&T. AT&T is the presenting sponsor of this event. 

Christopher’s presentation will focus on the macro trends in the mobile social media industry, giving insights on how you can find your audience, how you can make an impact on transactions, how to use mobile platforms and ways to watch behaviors.

The event will take place from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at Fifth Avenue 215 West 5th Street Royal Oak, MI 48067

This event is free to attend. You must be 21 or older to enter Fifth Avenue. Tickets will include Free Food & 1 Drink Ticket.

About Chris

As the executive director of digital and social media, Christopher Baccus leads social media strategy for AT&T in the Corporate Communications organization. He is responsible for how the company best approaches social media and how it relates to brand reputation, customer engagement, and looking forward to future social media initiatives that best fit AT&T and its business goals.

Christopher also internally leads the Digital Leadership Council and works across business units to best facilitate digital and social media external and internal ideas as the organization looks for how best to approach social communications.

He recently joined AT&T in July. In a recent past, Baccus was Vice-President of Digital Brand Strategy at Team Detroit, the Agency of Record for Ford Motor Company, where he led digital strategy for the Lincoln and Mercury brands, The Ford Story, and several Ford campaigns. He has also done digital marketing for General Motors and Chrysler. His background also includes having worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals where he was the director of online collaboration, focusing on internal use of what now has become social media tools inside the organization.
