Coinciding with the 2009 Hunt for Bin Laden, Tactical Paintball will hold the  annual Best Paintball Sniper Challenge.

Awards will be given to the top three places.
The challenge will consist of three major contests.

Each will be graded in measurable points and totaled at the end of the competition.

Contest #1 Concealed Movement

Contestants will be introduced to an area of the field with set boundaries. The field will be divided into 4 sections. Each section is worth a set point value. The sections will be scored as to distance to the target. The target is a man sized silhouette.

Contestants will be started at the same distance from the target and will move, unobserved, to as close to the target as possible. Each contestant will be allowed a total of two shots at the target to score a hit.

Contestants will be scored according to which section they are able to enter before being detected, or where they are when the target is hit.

A team of observers will be located at the target site and will attempt to locate the contestants before they are able to engage the target.
If a contestant is identified, they will be scored in accordance with the section they are in.

Bonus points are awarded for hits on the target.
The purpose of this event is to test the contestant’s ability to move to a target unobserved.

Contest #2 Sniper-Counter Sniper Operations

Each contestant will be assigned a target. Contestants will be provided with description of the designated target.

Contestants will have 1.hour to locate, engage the correct target and exfil to a designated point. Contestants will be scored 0 points on this event if the counter sniper (who will remain within a 100 foot radius of the target) eliminates the contestant before the contestant engages the target.

Contest #3 Target Range

Contestants will engage targets of various size and distance.
Contestants will have a total of 20 rounds to engage 5 targets
Points will be awarded for hits on targets. Closer targets are worth less points that distant targets.
