Eight out of ten women do it every day - they put on the wrong size bra and don’t even know it. Having the perfect look starts with the basics, including a well-fitting brassiere that supports and enhances the body. The perfect bra results in not only fit and comfort, but looking fabulous as well. Once again, Macy’s and Wacoal are teaming up to help women not only find their correct size, but to knock out breast cancer. Now in its 11th year with its landmark Fi(GH)t for the Cure® program, Wacoal has fit educated more than half a million women about the importance of bra fit, foundation and breast health.  

Macy’s and Wacoal are hosting in-store “Fi(GH)t FOR THE CURE®” bra fitting events throughout Macy’s locations (listed below). Whether you’re looking for a great basic bra or looking for a new style, Wacoal and Macy’s fit experts are ready to help during complimentary fittings. For every woman who receives a complimentary fitting from a trained Wacoal Fit Consultant during one of the events, Wacoal donates $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and another $2 for every Wacoal or b.tempt’d  by Wacoal bra or “Hope On A Hanger” shapewear piece purchased. Additionally, the Support the Girls® program, which takes place in October, furthers Wacoal and Susan G. Komen for the Cure®’s crusade by donating $2 for every bra purchase from popular Embrace Lace® and Awareness® collections.

Women should be professionally fitted for a bra at least once a year to ensure their cup and width size has not changed as a result of weight gain or loss, pregnancy, or other changes in their body. Take 15 minutes to meet with a Wacoal fit expert and contribute to an important cause.  Breast cancer accounts for 26 percent of all cancers among women.  A monthly breast self-examination is an important way to detect abnormalities at an early stage.  By keeping women on track through monthly breast exam reminders, the “Wacoal Promise” is an amendment to helping women stay committed to their health.  

The fit events will be held during the month of October.  Appointments are suggested for the fittings.
