Kansas City Plaza Field Trip - December 6, 2008

This is the first field trip of it's kind and we'll see from here if we make it an annual thing.

Here's the plan, plain and simple:

We leave my studio at 10 A.M. and stop for lunch along the way. 

We arrive at the Plaza in Kansas City between 1 & 2 P.M. and you've got a few hours to shop and or shoot the Plaza. 

We meet up at the fountain at 47th Street and Main at around 4:30 so we can go around together to shoot the Christmas lights in and around the Plaza. Sunset is at 4:55 on Saturday so it will be dark early enough for us to do this shooting by 5:30.

We leave the Plaza at around 6:30 and have dinner on the way home.

There are many places to take photos in and around the Plaza with a lot of really cool fountains to shoot, so bring your tripod.

The weather is predicted to be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the lower 40's, so dress warmly enough.  Gloves and hats are probably a really good idea.

We should be back in Wichita at around 10:00 P.M..

I've got room for 3 people in my truck and that's all I'm planning to take unless there's a big response in which case I'll rent a large enough van for us to all go together.  If somebody else cares to drive and carpool along we'll work that out.
