"Autism in Action" Forum

Join us for an evening to learn more about legislative issues affecting children and adults with autism in our state.  We will learn about what happened in the areas of health and human services as well as special education.  You will also have an opportunity to share your personal story and concerns with state legislators from Senate districts 48, 49, and 51 as well as House Districts 48A, 48B, 49A, 49B, 51A, and 51B.  If you're not sure who your legislators are, you can visit http://www.gis.leg.mn/OpenLayers/districts/ to find out who they are.

We will spend the first hour of this workshop:

  • Learning What Happened in the 2011 State Legislative Session
  • Reviewing What to Expect in the 2012 State Legislative Session
  • How You Can Effectively Share Your Personal Story with Elected Officials

During the second hour of this workshop, state legislators will be available.

If you have questions, please contact Kim Kang at kimdakang@gmail.com
