Is your food photography giving you trouble?
Do you wish your photography looked as good as the food tastes?
Sounds like your food photography needs an overhaul.
December 17th, I will be teaching a food photography class at the Hampton Inn South Park in Charlotte,NC. I will be teaching you everything from learning to shoot in manual mode to using artificial light to make a beautiful food photo to what backgrounds will make your food pop. We'll spend an intense day learning the tricks of the trade that make all of your pictures good enough to eat.
Whether you are just beginning your journey as a photographer, or you are a current pro looking to enter the food world, all skill levels are welcome.
Topics will include:
- how to plan out your food photographs to save you both time and money
- using aperture as a creative tool
- controlling contrast and fill
- how camera angles impact your shot
- all you ever wanted to know about lighting both natural and artificial
- using color theory to make your food pictures stand out
- post processing and an introduction to Lightroom
and much much more!
What to bring:
-Camera, DSLRs preferred, but not required. As long as you know how to change your camera's shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, that is all you need to know.
-Tripods, Laptop, and your favorite props to shoot with are welcomed, but not required. Plenty of props and subjects will be provided.

Class will run from 8:30 am - 4:30pm (45min lunch break on your own) on Saturday December 17th.
