National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is a special day set aside on the fifteenth of November. NDP provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible. The purpose of this day is to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic community – to the enrichment of our world.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is proud to bring Mike "Pinball" Clemons to Halifax for a special luncheon celebration on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2011.

Michael “Pinball” Clemons is an icon of sporting excellence, community leadership, personal character and integrity and is recognized as one of the sporting world's most compelling and motivational public speakers.

Hosted by CTV's Paul Hollingsworth, we invite you to join in the celebration of a special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy—and those people active in the philanthropic community—have made to our lives, our communities and our world.
