Seattle Public Utilities Combined Sewer Overflow Program:
Controlling 190 MG in 15 Years
Please join us for a presentation on the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) by Ms. Cheryl Paston, Capital Project Delivery Manager for SPU. Ms. Paston will present on SPU’s $500 million CSO Reduction Program. She oversees multi-disciplinary teams comprised of project managers, engineers, technical specialists and construction inspectors. They are responsible for implementing more than 20 capital projects that will reduce CSOs into Lake Washington, Lake Union, the Ship Canal and Puget Sound and improve their water quality by 2025.
Ms. Paston was born and raised in the Seattle area and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and a Masters in Organization Development from Seattle University.
