How To Survive An OSHA Inspection

This workshop demystifies the OSHA inspection process by explaining why inspections occur, how to properly handle an inspection, your rights as an employer, how to avoid or minimize violations noted during the inspection and what happens if citations and penalties are issued.  This workshop provides participants with more confidence in the event that an OSHA inspection occurs.

This workshop will help you answer these questions...

•   What are the circumstances under which OSHA conducts inspections?

•   What rights does an employer have when inspected by OSHA?

•   What rights do employees and the union have with respect to OSHA inspections?

•   How should employers respond during the inspection process?

•   What happens after the inspection is completed?

•   How are citations and penalty amounts determined?

•   How should employers prepare for an inspection?
