In a joint commitment to bring as much business to San
Francisco's small and locally owned businesses, the City and County of San
Francisco, the America's Cup Event Authority (ACEA) and the San Francisco Small
Business Development Center will conduct presentations to the business
community during the month of October 2011.
The America's Cup Event Authority and City Staff will
provide a general overview of the 34th America's Cup. The ACEA will present areas where there will be business engagement opportunities,
how it will notify businesses of these opportunities, and how
to market your business to the Event Authority as well as the
participating teams.
The Office of Small Business and OEWD will present on
business support services and where and how to hire from San Francisco's Workforce Development programs to expand your employee base. City Staff will be on hand to discuss transportation
planning and other relevant areas.
