The fourth and final BIFM SW Region Quarterly Training Day of 2011 is fast approaching and the theme for the day is “Delivering the Green Environment”. The environmental agenda is now high on any corporate business plan and FM’s need to be aware of the latest thinking and how to achieve year on year energy savings.
The sponsors for the day are SMS Environmental, who will be delivering a session covering everything FM's need to know about grey water, Lucy Black, chair of the Sustainability SiG will be telling us how to manage water sustainably whilst representatives from Low Carbon South West CIC and Running Green will be keeping us informed about the latest technology solutions for managing carbon and managing energy consumption. We also have two sessions covering environmental legislation, one of which will deal with legal compliance and the other focusing on the impact of changing environmental legislation.
