Haul out the holly, the ham hocks, and the hairspray, y’all: Running With Scissors is moseying back to the Everlasting Arms Motor Park for another helping of holiday hijinks in Grenadine McGunkle's Double-Wide Christmas! Thanks to 2008’s persnickety holiday calendar, there are only six shows this season, and Grenadine will be on hiatus in 2009, so catch us while you can!
As the curtain opens, we find trailer park maven Grenadine McGunkle (Dorian Rush)
putting the finishing touches on one of her famed Christmas Eve
interfaith tailgate potluck extravaganzas—but of course, things never
work out quite as Grenadine plans. Will she have time to finish her
makeup before company arrives? Will Crystal and China ever achieve fame
and fortune amid the backstabbing of Branson, Missouri? Who’s the
father of Crystal’s baby? And who’s been sending everyone mystery
gifts? Find out as Running With Scissors makes a mad dash for merriment
this holiday season at One Eyed Jacks!

Dorian Rush as Grenadine McGunkle, unofficial president of the Everlasting Arms Motor Park
Bob Edes, Jr. as Mailman Johnny Shoemake, who occasionally delivers the mail
Brad Caldwell as Punkin, a confirmed bachelor
Brian Peterson as Gladys Finkelstein, everyone’s favorite Jewish neighbor
Dwayne Sepcich as Daniel Finkelstein, a reality TV show producer and Gladys’ beloved son
Jack Long as Helen Highwater, a girl who should really know better
Lisa Picone & Ashley Ricord as Crystal & China, Grenadine’s cousins/step-sisters
Donald Lewis as Cooter Ball, mystery lover of one trailer park resident—but whom?
Elizabeth Pearce as Madge McGillicuddy, neighbor and accompanist
Grenadine McGunkle's Double-Wide Christmas

Running With Scissors is a New Orleans-based theatre troupe that's fast become a city-wide favorite! With numerous successful productions under its belt and many more in the works, Running With Scissors aims to present a diverse array of entertainment for Crescent City theatergoers.
