In 1956, China’s National Physical Education Association created the “24 Stances of Taijiquan” based on the Yang Family style of Taichi, which was taught in the Imperial Courts of Beijing. Movements are graceful and fluid, generating internal strength that is not obvious. The stances are easy to learn and practice, helps to improve balance and agility.
Yang Style Taiji is suitable for all ages and physical dispositions. Students should come to class in comfortable clothes and shoes.
