The GeoGraphix Overview and Refresher workshop is designed for the new user of GeoGraphix Discovery and for users that have not used GeoGraphix Discovery for a while. It may also serve as a demo for those considering the purchase of GeoGraphix. The class covers a workflow that includes:
- Project creation
- Data loading
- Creating PRIZM presentation templates
- Creating AOIs
- Creating map layers for display in GeoAtlas
- Interpreting in XSection
- Working with the Stratigraphic Column Manager
- Picking intervals in cross section
- Creating and applying a PRIZM petrophysical model
- Analyzing attributes in ZoneManager
- Creating the Final Presentation map
After the class the user should understand project organization, cross section correlation, basic mapping, and create an interpretation through final presentation.
